24/7 Monitoring
An alarm that rings and an app notification at 3 a.m. both depend on you being awake, reachable and able to do something about it. Be Watch monitoring puts a trained operator on the other end of every event, checking the footage, deciding whether it is real, and acting on it while you sleep.
How monitoring works
From detection to resolution
- The AI raises an eventA person is detected in a zone that should be empty. The clip is sent to the monitoring team automatically.
- An operator verifies on live videoReal or not? A person, or a possum? They decide in seconds, with the footage in front of them.
- DeterrenceFloodlights, a siren, or a live voice through the on-site speaker. Most intruders leave at this point.
- EscalationKeyholders called in your order, police or a guard dispatched if the event is confirmed.
- Incident reportFootage, timeline and actions taken, in one file, in your inbox by the morning.
What is included
What the monitoring team does for you
- Alarm verification against live video, so false callouts stop costing you money and goodwill with the police.
- AI event detection during the day, operator monitoring overnight, with your business hours and holidays configured.
- Emergency escalation to the people you nominate, in the order you choose, with police or guard dispatch when confirmed.
- Mobile alerts with the clip attached, so you can see what the operator saw.
- System health monitoring. A camera that goes offline or a recorder that stops writing is reported, not discovered after an incident.
- Incident reporting with footage, time and location in one file, ready for the police or your insurer.

Honesty
What monitoring cannot do
Monitoring cannot stop a determined intruder on its own, and any company that promises otherwise is selling you something else. What it does is remove the delay between an event and a response, put a human decision in the loop, and make sure the footage and timeline exist afterwards.
Service commitments, response targets and what happens at each escalation step are written in your monitoring service agreement, not left to a brochure. Read our Monitoring SLA.
Questions
What people ask about 24/7 Monitoring
Who is watching my cameras?
Nobody watches your cameras continuously. Operators only see footage when the system raises an event on a monitored system, and every viewing is logged. That is both a privacy safeguard and the reason the service is affordable.
Do you dispatch police or guards?
Yes, once an event is confirmed on video and according to the response plan you set. Video verification is what makes police take a callout seriously.
Can I have monitoring only at night or only when I am away?
Yes. Monitoring schedules follow your business hours, your holidays and, for homes, an away mode you switch on from the app.
Is monitoring a contract?
Monitoring is part of your monthly Be Watch Care plan. Terms are set out plainly in the service agreement, with the response targets we commit to.
